A Little about me...

I have lived in Raleigh since 1989 and hope to always call this fabulous city home. I went to Athens Drive High School, then on to Meredith College where I received my BS in Fashion Merchandising.

I opened the first Jill’s Beach with my beautiful Mom in 2002. Since then I have worked hard at making our salons the best in the business. Moma’s now retired, but still my go to girl when I need advice or guidance, with everything, not just the beaches. I am now retired as the merchandise chair for the Susan G. Komen foundation but will continue on as an active volunteer as I begin my 10th year with them.

My family all live nearby and I am blessed with 4 nephews and 2 nieces, all of which are perfect! I share my life with a group of girlfriends that I have had for 17 years and my husband TJ; TJ is an amazing chef and I am a very spoiled girl when it comes to our home life, the perks of a chef for a husband are endless!(And sometimes a little damaging to the waistline!) Oh, and how could I forget!? My sweetie pie Macie; she's the sweetest Pomeranian who has been my companion for the last 14 years, the fluffiest little thing you have ever seen, she's now in heaven, but still very much a part of my life :-).

I am a "bit" social and am always out and about and love to see the Jill’s Beach customers. So, if you see me out, please say hey, I’d love to have a chat!

Side note...I have an amazing father, his name is John and he is the best ever, so smart and sooo funny, truly the reason I have the business savvy that I do. He negotiates all my deals with me and makes sure I'm on the ball. "Early  bird gets the worm", "Squeky wheel gets the grease" & my favorite "Loose lips sink ships." Just a few of the Big John'isms that have transformed my thinking when it comes to business. (He was a little disgruntled he didn't get mentioned earlier, so I figured i'd give him his own paragraph). Love you Dad, thanks for everything!
