Jill's Bubbles
The 1050
Yesterday I open the doors to Jill's Beach 4, turn off the alarm and my daily feelings of peace come over me; man I love this place. As I walk down my chandelier lit hallway I hear the dreaded sound of a timer screaming. I take a deep breath and call my man Trace and ask him to get on it for me, these two beds and their chips have been nothing but trouble! Grrr...As I wait for Trace to finish cracking his whip and get some things done I realize something...the worst thing I could possibly realize at that salon, the 1050 is down and it's the third time in less than 7 months the timer on it so sadly displays "HELP". Well, this changes everything...

Time for a fifth?
Every morning I leave my house and above the front door is a plaque that reads "Carpe Diem"; Latin for "Seize the Day". This has been mine and T's mantra for a few months now. We have realized that this is the time to take risks and embrace our opportunities. The beaches are all doing well and are performing beyond expectations. Everyone is still going nuts about the new Cary location and how beautiful it is. So, with that being said, I'm bored. Bored as in, where do I take this business to now? I figured out I could handle four locations and now I'm ready for five&time to strike while the irons hot, if you will.

Breaking & Entering
As I sit here at 5:00 am watching the Starbucks employees wait out front to be let in to begin their day, how do they get people in to work that early anyway? Back to the story...I am here at my Flagship Store, my baby, the one which encompasses so many of dreams (you feel the significance of this store now?) Well she's now been violated; she's showing off her new design of a shattered glass door. No big deal though right? Just plain aggravation and heartache.

New Store Coming Soon!
We're opening a new store in Cary and it is going to be nasty...Seriously, I have been working so hard on making this the nicest salon you have ever seen. I started wanting it to be glamorous, so I decided to hang 7 crystal chandeliers down the hallway, and then I realized I needed lots and lots of mirrors to reflect all that beautiful hanging crystal. So, the hallway is now lined with 7ft leaning mirrors. Crystal, mirrors, glass, and glamour, that's what our flagship store is all about, It's gonna change the game, other salon owners are going to get their feelings hurt when they see this one...
